About the position
The Agency Technology Specialist (ATS) serves as the on-site technical resource for the agency, focusing on cyber protection, technical troubleshooting, device setup, software training and IT compliance supervision. This role collaborates with Corporate resources to ensure effective, secure, and compliant usage of technology within the agency. The ATS is responsible for managing security access, onboarding and offboarding processes, and providing technology support to agents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform agency security access duties by managing access for agents and agency staff via field security.
  • Assure accurate and timely onboarding and offboarding of all technology assets
  • Proactively create awareness to advisors and staff on all cyber threat events and manage all cyber threats.
  • Troubleshoot desktop support and/or system problems as the primary contact for technology support.
  • Administer hardware and software updates accurately and efficiently.
  • Train agents on new technology and oversee the agency rollout of newly introduced technology.
  • Identify opportunities for the agency to improve productivity through effective use of technology.
  • Maintain complete inventories of all hardware, software, and other computer-related technology.
  • Manage agency ticketing system to manage requests within specified service-level agreements.
  • Complete and submit timely & orderly field security audits.
Requirements
  • Coursework/degree in Information Technology, or at least 1 year of experience in help desk support and maintenance in a business environment.
  • Ability to independently repair a personal computer and install/configure Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones, and Android smartphones.
  • Windows network coursework/certification preferred.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to promote technology usage.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions to define problems and present recommendations.
  • Strong organization, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and management of defined timelines.
